Sessions: Pre-class

Do I need to bring my own gloves for BOXING?

No – we have gloves available, free of charge. They are disinfected and cleaned after every class by our cleaning team so each pair is hygienic and fresh. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own gloves to use. If you wish to buy a pair of JAB Gloves to keep, speak to our front desk.

Do I need wraps for BOXING?

We recommend wearing wraps to protect your wrists and knuckles when boxing. If you don’t own your own pair, we sell both slip on wraps and classic wraps in our clubs, just speak to a member of our team.

How frequently are the studios cleaned?

After each session, our dedicated cleaning team will thoroughly clean every piece of weight equipment, along with cleaning the floors, bags, and mirrors.

Should I bring water?

We have water stations placed around our clubs, to fill your own personal water bottles. We also sell sustainably packaged water at our Health Bar – Joey’s.

What do I wear for BOXING and TRAIN?

Whatever you feel comfortable to train in. We advise wearing proper training shoes suitable for working out. It is important your feet, ankles and knees are supported.

What if I’m late?

JAB operates a strict policy on latecomers to a session. It isn’t personal, but it is disruptive to the structure of the session, and to the coach teaching it. If you arrive 10 minutes after the session has started we won’t be able to get you in, but don’t worry we will move you to a different session or pop the credit back on your account to use another day.

What is the difference between BOXING and TRAIN?

BOXING is a 60 minute session split into two halves: 6 rounds of Boxing Bag-work, 6 rounds of Boxing-focused footwork and strength training.

TRAIN is a 60 minute Strength and Conditioning session split into 3 Training blocks: Strength/Power, Hypertrophy and Conditioning.

What skill level are both BOXING and TRAIN?

Our BOXING and TRAIN sessions cater for every skill level, from beginner to seasoned pro. For newcomers, our coaches will ensure you are guided through each step of the session, until you find your feet.

What time should I arrive before a session?

Please arrive no less than 15 minutes before your scheduled booking. It is good to have enough time to put away your personal items, grab some water or pre-order a shake! Our coaches will always give a quick introduction talk 5 minutes prior. You don’t want to miss it as you’ll get a feel for what your session is about and what to expect.

Sessions: Post-class

Am I allowed to take a picture?

The answer is yes.

After your session, take a moment to capture it – with your coach, your training partners, or your fellow JAB Team. Share it on Instagram and tag us; we’d love to feature it in our story.

This is how we build something that extends beyond the gym. Every post is part of the community we’re creating together.

Can I get a post work out refuel?

Yes! Head over to our Health Bar Joey’s and our dedicated team will make you the best protein shakes in town. We use plant-based produce, working with the incredible team at Form Nutrition. You are able to pre-order your shake before a session, so you can ‘Grab and Go’.

Can I leave my personal items in a locker overnight?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer this kind of service. We ask you to kindly ensure you remove all your items when you leave the club. All lockers are opened at the end of the day and anything left will be placed in lost property.

What do I do with borrowed gloves after a BOXING session?

There is a glove bin in the studio – please place them in there before leaving the main studio. They are then collected by our cleaning team for disinfecting.

What facilities do you have in the changing rooms?

Our changing rooms are kitted out with quality hair dryers and straighteners, as well as shampoo, conditioner, creams and shower gel supplied by Perricone MD. We also supply deodorant and hair products. These are for shared use, and we ask that these are respected and not removed from the changing rooms. Fresh towels can be found in every changing room.

Do I have access to an Open Gym?

Our Open Gym is available at EC1 only. Local club and all club membership gives you access to this.

Do I have access to Recovery facilities?

Yes, membership gives you unlimited access to recovery facilities.

Do I have unlimited access to all classes?

Every membership gives you unlimited access to all classes at your local club, or all clubs if you have an all-club membership.

How do I become a member?

How long is my founding rate secured for?

Your founding rate is locked in for 12 months.
